$200,000 Funding Announced 2016 Community Building Partnership Program
Member for Coogee Bruce Notley-Smith today announced the successful applicants for 2016 Community Building Partnerships Program. Coogee has secured grant funding of$200,000 for a total of 13 projects as part of the NSW Government’s 2016 Community Building Partnership (CBP) program.
The NSW Government has committed funds to new community infrastructure projects that will enhance much needed local facilities.
Notley-Smith said he was pleased to receive this State Government funding. The funding will aim to create more vibrant and inclusive communities and deliver positive social, environmental and recreational outcomes.
‘’This grassroots funding will directly benefit our community and will deliver new infrastructure for schools and community groups, and will help pay for much-needed improvements to local sports facilities and community organisations.
Mr. Notley-Smith congratulates all those organisations that were successful in their application and is pleased this funding will help community groups make a positive difference in the local area.
The successful Projects in the Coogee electorate for 2016 are:

|· Bronte Activity Centre Incorporated||Softfall For Play Fort||$10,000|
|· St. Nicolas’ Anglican Church||Access ramp with safety fencing||$10,000|
|· Bondi Junction Waverly RSL Sub Branch Club Limited||Function Room Furniture upgrade||$12,000|
|· South Coogee Bowling Club||Shaded Deck Area for Family and Community use.||$15,000|
|· The Junction Neighbourhood Centre Inc.||Enhancing Community Gathering Space @ The Orange Room, South Coogee||$10,000|
|· Multiple District 201 Of Lions Club International Inc.||Coogee Lions 10 Year Anniversary Community Project||$10,000|
